Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available on Desert Trip in Dubai infringes on your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include all the following elements:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. Provide specific details, such as the title or a link to the original work.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on our site. Include specific URLs (e.g., https://www.deserttripdubai.ae/article-title).
  • Your contact information. This includes your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Send your complete DMCA notice to: [email protected].

Counter-Notification Process

If your content is removed due to a copyright infringement claim, and you believe this was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notification. This is your statement disputing the claim. We will reinstate the material after a specified period if the claimant does not initiate legal action.

Your counter-notification must include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Desert Trip in Dubai may be found). You must also accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Send your complete counter-notification to: [email protected].

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will send a copy to the original complaining party. We will restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days, unless the copyright owner notifies us that they have filed a legal action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.
